New Switronix DSLR Battery Cable for Canon

Switronix just released a new cable to use with you 5D MKII, 7D or 60D DSLR Cameras. This cable give you a different option to power your DSLR Cameras without having to purchase the extra Canon DR-E6 accessory.

Here's a rip from the Switronix website of the PR -

"Announcing the XP-DV-CH, the newest addition the Switronix’s line of XP model DSLR cables. The XP-DV-CH features a regulated 7.9v battery paddle (LP-E6 type) for the Canon 5D, 60D and 7D cameras and an inline female p-tap connector for 12vdc, housed in an enclosure. It also includes both red and green LED indication to display battery power status. The cable can be used in association with a Switronix accessory or used solo with a PRO-X series lithium-ion battery product. Although similar to Switronix’s XP-DSLR-C, the XP-DV-CH cable does not require the user to purchase a separate Canon DR-E6, which retails for roughly $50. This development will save users money and ensure a more reliable product due to its solid connection.
